I still can't believe it! WE MOVED TO TENNESSEE!
This is why I haven't been posting. Like at all. I have been so busy because we moved to Tennessee about 3 and a half months ago, AND I now go to a private school, AND you might've forgotten but I do have a 7 month old brother. So life has been hectic.
A few months ago, we went to visit Tennessee because my cousin, Shayli, was graduating high school! During her graduation party, I kept telling my mom that I never wanted to leave. She told me that she and Dad had been trying to move to Tennessee for 13 years. That's longer than I've been alive. When we got back to Florida, my mom and dad started to try to get jobs up there. My mom was trying to get jobs at schools, because she used to teach high school English. My dad on the other hand, was trying to be a salesman for air conditioning, because he also did that. Unfortunately, my mom never got any of the jobs she wanted. Fortunately, Dad got the job! We all got SO excited, and we couldn't wait to move to Tennessee! After 13 years. 13!
A few weeks later, we had our going away party! It was really sad leaving my friends that I knew for years behind. But still, it was quite fun.
And just like that, it was time to move. Everything happened so fast, it was insane! The POD was almost full, our house was empty, and the car was ready to go. Listen, I've moved plenty of times before, but this, this was different. Very, very, very, different. I have NEVER lived in a different state before, nor has my mom. Or my brother. Or my other brother. Let me tell you, the trip was, well, kinda insane. I rode with my Grammie the whole time, because I did not want to ride with Riley or Remy. Of course, we had to stop a few times to eat and go to the bathroom, but other than that we did pretty well.
And then, I saw my new house for the first time. It was so cute! We decided to rent my aunt's grandma's house, since she now lives in a nursing home. It was pretty outdated, so before me and Mom, Riley, and Remy moved in, (my dad moved in a month before we did because of his job) we had the house renovated a little bit. We redid the floors, painted the walls, and that made a big difference. Let me tell you, I LOVE my room! It's bigger than any room I've had, and I love decorating, so that was super fun to do. Did I mention the fact that our backyard is HUGE? Well now you know it is.
Ever since we moved, my life has changed a lot. Soccer starts this week, oh and I'm in a play! Lads 2 Leaders is starting again, so I'm a pretty busy woman if I do say so myself. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this blog!
