Happy *late* New Year! Today I will be sharing some of my best memories from 2019. This is going to be a long blog, so bear with me. Was that the right bear? Not sure.
Let's start with January. That was a crazy month. Remy, who is almost 1 now, was born! It was an insane experience, because I was only 2 when Riley was born, so I don't remember it at all. That was pretty much the only thing that happened in January, so let's skip a few months, and jump right into May.
In the month of May, my cousin, Shayli, was graduating high school! We went up to Tennessee to celebrate, and see the graduation ceremony. I remember sitting in my aunt and uncle's back yard, telling my mom I didn't want to go back to Florida. I loved it here. Mom told me that her and Dad were trying to move up here for 13 YEARS! That's longer than I've been alive! Anyway, when we got back to Florida, my parents applied for jobs in Tennessee. Mom used to teach high school, so she applied at a school. Dad does stuff with air conditioning sales, so he applied for a job that had to do with that. After a few weeks, Mom didn't get her job, but Dad did! We started to pack over the course of 2 months, and we were so excited to move up here!
Now, August. Me and Riley got accepted into a private school, and started going there. Let me tell you, it's one of the best schools ever. Period. I did a LOT of school activities. In fall, I did soccer, and I was in a play. That meant I had to stay after school until 6 pm. That's 4 hours after school gets out. It was totally worth it though. Anyway, I'm also in band, and I will be joining marching band in 7th grade! I am super excited for that. Softball starts in February of this year, so that will be super fun, too.
Fast forward to December. December has always been the busiest month, with Christmas, my bday, and New Year's. But I feel like this year was extra busy. I had a band concert, which was super fun, and I had 5 days of exams. That was not fun. Some of you may know this, but my grandparents built a mountain house in North Carolina. We went there for the holidays. Christmas was awesome. My favorite present was that my aunts surprised me with a cruise! I am so excited to go on my first cruise in February. For my birthday, which is 2 days after Christmas, we went skiing! I haven't skied in 3 years, but I think I did pretty good. And lastly, New Year's Eve. Me and my family kinda beat the system. We were all dead tired, and didnt want to stay up so late. So, we watched the ball drop in New York, which drops at 11 pm our time. Then we went to bed.
If you read all the way to here, you deserve a medal. But yeah, that was my insanely busy 2019. 2020 is definitely going to be busier, but I'm fine with that. Bye now.
