Hey everyone! Sorry I have been a little behind on posting. Anyway, Saturday me and my family went to Jonathan Dickinson State Park! Our church was doing a "family retreat" there.
At first, they needed 2 adults, 1 teenager, and 1 kid. I volunteered as the kid. They didn't say what they were doing, so I didn't know what was happening! So as you can see, I entered a PIE EATING CONTEST on accident! And yes, this was my first time doing one.
Then, it was time to do the egg hunt! I didn't do it, but I helped the littles find eggs. When the girls decided they were done, we sat down at a picnic table and began to crack the eggs open. Some of the eggs had ADORABLE little food erasers. Others had candy and rings. Lots of rings.
After 30 minutes of opening plastic eggs, we had a Bible lesson. The kids and teens went to a campfire, and the adults stayed under the pavilion to have their lesson. Oh, and the lesson was really good too!
When our Bible lesson was over, it was lunch time! I had 2 hot dogs, a Rice Krispie Treat, and a Coke. And those hot dogs had a grill flavor, which made them DELICIOUS! I didn't eat a ton, because I was still a little full from that blueberry pie!
